Chocolate Chip Cookies?



So as most of you know, Russ is pre-diabetic. As a family we have been trying to eat less sugar and less carbs. Well, I was at the store and saw a bag of Splenda that said it was "great for baking". Eventhough it was like 5 bucks instead of 2, I thought we should give it a shot. They turned out pretty good and taste good too! The texture is a little "airy"? And I haven't gotten the runs so that's good. Only thing is that it says it has almost the same amount of carbs in the cookie than one made with real sugar. So, was it worth it? I think I'll save 3 dollars and just buy REAL sugar next time.




The boys enjoyed them though!
