I'm obsessed!
Okay, so I'm to lose weight. My sisters and I are going to be running a half-marathon at Disneyland on Labor Day weekend. I've been running 4 or so miles about twice a week. I think if I lost a few pounds I could run more. I've been drinking slim-fast for two meals in addition to running but the pounds are not coming off! Anyone have any other ideas to make the pounds shed?

I left out "trying". So ya, I'm trying to lose weight.
Im a slim fast FEEN. Although its not too great losing weight (its pretty packed with sugar). What helps me is TANNING. haha jk but not really. It makes you look skinnier. Not that I condone tanning death traps. I wish they weren't so bad for you.
If you really want to lose weight, be sure to switch up your exercises. When your body gets used to doing the same thing over and over again, it won't be as apt to burning the calories. For weight training switch up different muscle groups everyday. For cardio run, walk, bike, rollerblade etc. Mix it up!
Good luck with the half marathon. I was thinking about doing that one a few years ago. Sounds like fun!
(I wanted to be a personal trainer. Maybe thats what I should do next year...) PS. We're going to miss you too :(
Awesome! Definitely listen to Annie about changing things up. It confuses your body so you lose more weight that way. I would say to snack less and be more cognizant of the things you take in. Follow the old, "Calories In-Calories Out Rule." Basically, you should be expending more calories than you are eating.
*Drink plenty of water too.
That's so cool that you're doing the Disneyland run. Jealous!
