Potty Training
So I started to attempt to teach Casey how to use the toilet. He is doing great and it has only been two days. He has his own potty that he sits on in front of the tv and knows what to do with it. The problem I am having is that when he is away from the potty playing or doing something else, he just goes where he is standing. I always ask him if he has to go and he says no and then he wets himself! If anyone has any advice on how to get them to ask to go potty or to just go on their own, when the potty is not too close I would greatly appreciate it. I know I am probably getting ahead of myself but I have no idea how to get him to want to go potty when he is not watching tv all day or when we are out. So, thanks and here's hoping!

I'm glad you didn't include a picture.
oh but I wanted a picture! What I did, was stay home for a few days and set the timer for 10 minutes. If they are sitting on it great, if he is playing, when the timer would go off he needs to sit, and if he has an accident, he needs to sit. It kinda trains them that when they have that feeling, thats where they go. Its long, messy and tests your nerves. Plus you have to be on top of things. good luck! I'll try to think of other things...
oh yeah, I found with Mason that bribes didn't work!
